The Auglaize County Historical Society, in collaboration with Greenlawn Cemetery, will host a Gravestone Cleaning Workshop on May 20 4 pm, with Krista Horrocks of the Ohio Historic Connection.<\/p>\n
The program, which will also include a brief presentation about the history of Greenlawn Cemetery, will focus on proper cleaning methods of historic tombstones.\u00a0 Participants will be provided the opportunity to clean a tombstone themselves.<\/p>\n
Ms. Horrocks is Department Manager, Education and Support Services, for the Ohio History Connection. She holds an AAS in Archeology from Hocking College, a BSS in Historic Anthropology from Ohio University, and an MA in American Studies from Youngstown State University. \u00a0She has served the Ohio History Connection in several capacities since January 2017.<\/p>\n
